SUPPERLAND SPEAKEASY.
A Unique Spirit Experience.
Welcome…
Welcome to Supperland’s Speakeasy. Our team has put together a “Speakeasy Tasting Experience” that gives you the chance to enjoy one-of-a-kind coursed cocktails with small bite pairings. And it’s all done in an intimate ten-seat bar in our basement.
If you have food allergies, please email us at supperland@icloud.com with 72 hours notice so that we may better accommodate you. Thank you!
FAQs
Got questions? We’ve got answers.
How can I make a reservation for the Supperland Speakeasy?
Reserve above – look for the pink button!
What is on the menu in the Supperland Speakeasy?
We have crafted a Speakeasy Tasting Experience for you centered around cocktails paired with creative dishes from our kitchen team. The menu will change over time, and it is meant to be a surprise for your arrival. Allow us to take you on a little unexpected ride.
How many drinks will I get?
We offer a four course tasting menu, so you will get 4 cocktails and 4 dishes — and for some themes, we offer a welcome beverage and bread course, too!
How long does the Speakeasy Tasting Experience last?
Groups will be in the room for about 2 hours for the experience.
What if I’m late to my reservation?
You’ll have a ten minute leeway if you’re running behind, but because this is a group experience, the show must go on! We’ll applaud upon your arrival and catch you up with the group – but the experience will still remain approximately 2 hours in total from the beginning of the session.
Can I reserve out the whole Speakeasy for a group of 10?
If the seats are available, you may purchase all 10 seats for an evening. All reservations may be made right here on our website; click that pink button above. You may also email us at supperland@icloud.com to inquire about group options.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
Please let us know in advance what your dietary restrictions are and we will do our best to accommodate you. We need to know within 72 hours of your reservation. You may email us at supperland@icloud.com. Thank you!
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my Speakeasy reservation?
We apologize for the inconvenience, but to properly plan and staff the Speakeasy experience, we do not offer refunds or rescheduling options.
The Speakeasy is a very small room and the specific experience (for example, rum) will only be available for a limited time. Also, because there are such a limited number of slots, and the Speakeasy books out so quickly, unfortunately we do not have the flexibility to offer rescheduling options without inconveniencing other guests. Thank you for your understanding.
Where is the Supperland Speakeasy?
The Speakeasy is located in the basement of the Bar at Supperland, the smaller of our two buildings on the property at 1212 The Plaza Charlotte, NC 28205.
I have a reservation; how do I check in for the Speakeasy?
Simply walk up to the Bar at Supperland (the smaller of two buildings on our property) and let the bartender or host know that you’re there for the Speakeasy.
Is there a dress code at the Speakeasy at Supperland?
No, we love you just as you are.
Who makes the menu at the Speakeasy?
The cocktails for this experience are created by 2025 James Beard Nominee and 2025 American South MICHELIN Guide Award Winner Colleen Hughes and members of the bar team. The food pairings are developed by our culinary team, lead by Supperland Executive Chef Joe Hutton.
How can a disabled person access the Speakeasy?
Unfortunately we do not have an elevator, however, we will create the “Spirit Experience“ for you in our main Bar at Supperland – located right above the Speakeasy. Please let us know 48 hours in advance of your reservation so that we may better accommodate you. Our team will set you up with the coursed cocktails and small bite pairings just as they would in the basement. We look forward to having you in!
What nights is the Speakeasy open?
Our Speakeasy Tasting Experience is available Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights during the holiday season. Supper in the Speakeasy, our a la carte dinner menu, is available on select nights in between themes. See all open Supper in the Speakeasy dates right here!
Can I just walk up to the Speakeasy?
Reservations are required for our Speakeasy Tasting Experience. Depending on availability, walk-ins may be welcome for Supper in the Speakeasy, but reservations are recommended. Please know that you CAN just walk up to our main Bar at Supperland which is in the smaller of our two buildings on the property. That Bar is all first come, first serve. It’s a floral wallpapered room – you can’t miss it.
Can I bring a child into the Speakeasy?
No, this experience is 21+ only. Thank you.
I loved a cocktail I had in the Speakeasy, can I get it at the bar or in the main dining room?
All food and drink from our cocktail tasting menus are exclusive to the Speakeasy!
